As I am sure you all know, the Corona Virus has driven any and all travel to a grinding halt.  Over the past two months, I have logged over 55 hours of hold time with various cruise lines, air lines and travel suppliers.  That doesn't even take into account the time I have spent talking to reps from each company that are entirely unprepared for something of this magnitude.  There have been policy changes and revisions, date changes, extensions, refunds, credits, and cancellations.  The superfecta of a pre-travel nightmare.

Without a travel agent, such as myself, the hold times and details are often frustrating and daunting.  I have had many calls from people who booked direct or with big box stores who are asking for help because they have been left holding the bag by lack of customer service.  unfortunately, because of business rules, I cannot help.  The cruise lines won't allow it.

I always tell people I meet, please use a good travel agent.  Its free, it saves you a ton of time and energy and they are a great tool for help in times of need!  I hope to prove to my guests on every call I will be there for them in good times and bad.  I hope to have that chance again as travel restarts!
