Yesterday we welcomed a brand new ship into our fleet, MSC Virtuosa!

She is the sister ship of MSC Grandiosa and the fourth Meraviglia class ship in our ultramodern fleet. The delivery ceremony was a small, private event at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint Nazaire, France, where the new ship received her official flag and blessings for good fortune, honoring ancient maritime traditions that are so important to us.

 

MSC Virtuosa will come into service this April, starting in the Mediterranean before heading to Northern Europe. Homeporting in Kiel, summer itineraries will include stops in Copenhagen, St. Petersburg and ports in Norway among the famous fjords. Then, her winter season will be spent in the Far East. Whatever the destination, MSC Virtuosa will amaze with beautiful staterooms, kids’ clubs, pools and high-tech features!
