It is our privilege to announce the opening of the 2022 Europe season! Commencing in April of 2022, our Europe program will feature 5 ships sailing a variety of 7- to 35-day voyages throughout Northern Europe, the Mediterranean and across the Atlantic Ocean. Some of the highlights and key selling points of the 2022 Europe program include:

 

• An expanded 7-day deployment in the Mediterranean with convenient weekend embark and disembark options. This allows our guests to fully maximize their vacation time all while getting the full Holland America Line experience in the Mediterranean.
• Rotterdam returns to Amsterdam for her second season in Europe sailing our signature Viking Sagas, Norse Legends, Northern Isles and Baltic itineraries.
• We will be bringing back the popular Europe Voyages of Distinction program aboard Volendam. These incredibly diverse and unique European itineraries have been specially curated for guests looking to explore off the beaten path. 
• Nieuw Statendam will begin her season in the Mediterranean where she will sail a variety of 7-day sailings before repositioning toCopenhagen and complete a series of Baltic and Iceland sailings. She will wrap up her season in Europe with the fan favorite 18-Day Viking Passage between Copenhagen and Boston. This is a particularly special sailing for those looking to enjoy the beauty of the Northern Atlantic in peak summer.
• Returning to the Mediterranean in 2022 for the entire season, Westerdam will be sailing between Barcelona, Venice, Civitavecchia (Rome) and Piraeus (Athens) completing a series of 7 & 12-day sailings.
• One of our most unique European voyages, the 35-Day Voyage of the Vikings, will once again be offered roundtrip from Boston, plus shorter segment options between Boston and Rotterdam, and reverse (this voyage sells quickly!)
• Please note, this sailing will be opened a few weeks later than the rest of the product as we re-accommodate guests and groups impacted by the 2021 cancellation of the Voyage of the Vikings.
• In Rotterdam, Netherlands on October 15, 1872, Rotterdam I embarked on her maiden voyage to New York City. On October 15^th, 2022, join Rotterdam VII in Rotterdam as we re-create this historic 150^th Anniversary sailing.
