Carnival Victory Review part two

I recently returned to the Carnival Victory for a 4 night cruise to Cozumel and Key West.  I noticed a few things about the ship I wanted to share.

First, the staff.  I really found the staff to be very good.  Brighton in the Skybox sports bar and Elwin in the dining room were two of my faves.  The casino bar servers were amazing as well.

I noticed that after a certain time of night, there wasn't much in terms of food.  of course pizza, but I found the pizza to be disgusting. Room service was good, but it also cost you money, roughly $10 for a decent meal.

The ports were good, Key West was beautiful, but getting on the tram back to the ship was a pain.  A long line if you wait to the very end of the day.  Cozumel has tons to do.  I did a scuba dive and hung out at the bar for dollar beers afterward.  The bar was called sunset bar, and it was right at the scuba diving center.  Great view and close to the ship!

The spa and gym were a nice size for this type of ship.  I have been on bigger ships and the spa and gym were much smaller.

The Victory is to be completely refurbished and renamed early next year. Truth be told, it needs it.  Needs updated and needs more options for food.
